Save the Realm

Save the Realm is a roleplaying game about a group of heroes who undertake a journey to save their home from a dire threat. During the game, you’ll explore the motives of the heroes and the relationships between them, and you’ll decide how the quest changes them. The game takes its inspiration from fantasy quest stories such as J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings, L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Seanan McGuire’s Beneath the Sugar Sky, and many other cartoons, books, and movies.

This game doesn’t come with its own setting. When you sit down to play, your group will imagine your own realm and heroes. There’s no need to prepare a world or adventure ahead of time, which makes this game well-suited for one-shots or conventions.

Save the Realm was developed for the Roll to Craft Game Jam. It's fully playable, but lacks polish and is due for more playtesting and editing.
